What is epimedium brevicornum maxim extract icaritin powder?
1. Epimedium is a monomeric compound (content >98%) extracted, isolated, and purified from the natural medicinal plant Epimedium. Epimedium is similar to artemisinin and is a monomeric compound obtained by enzymatic digestion from the traditional Chinese medicine Epimedium. Epimedium brevicornum Maxim Extract Icaritin Powder, also known as Akoladine, is female-like. Compared with icariin it's female-like and is more suitable for women. Icaritin is derived from icariin.
2. At present, there are fewer factories on the market that can do this. But we not only can provide high purity but also can custom the purity you need based on your finished product. Epimedium brevicornum Maxim Extract Icaritin Powder has significant safety for patients who are not suitable for existing chemotherapeutic drugs and targeted drug therapy. And the curative effect is definite, and it has entered phase III clinical trials.

What are the applications of icaritin powder?
1. Effects on endocrine secretion
Epimedium can promote sexual function, which is caused by the excessive secretion of seminal fluid after the filling of seminal vesicles, stimulating sensory nerves and indirectly producing sexual desire. Idobio Epimedium, the main component of Epimedium, can significantly promote the development of epididymis and seminal vesicles in young rats, and Epimedium has androgenic effects.
2. Effects on immune system function
The number of T cells, lymphatic conversion rate, antibodies, antigens, and low phagocytosis of the reticuloendothelial system in patients with kidney deficiency can be improved after treatment with kidney tonic drugs such as Epimedium.
3. Effects on the cardiovascular system
Epimedium aqueous decoction and extracts have a protective effect on myocardial ischemia induced by posterior pituitary hormone in rats. Antihypertensive effect: Epimedium aqueous decoction and ethanolic extract of aqueous decoction were injected intravenously into rabbits (2.5 ml/kg), cats (2 ml/kg), and rats (4 ml/kg), and all had antihypertensive effects. The most pronounced effect was observed in rabbits.
4. Effects on the blood system
Comparing the effects of Epimedium aestivum decoction, polysaccharides, and total flavonoids on platelet aggregation, it was found that after oral administration of Epimedium aestivum decoction, the erythrocyte pressure volume was significantly reduced, the erythrocyte electrophoresis time was shortened and the hematocrit was accelerated in healthy individuals, thus the whole blood specific viscosity was significantly reduced.
5. Effects on metabolism
Epimedium can promote DNA synthesis.
6. Anti-osteoporosis effect
Experiments have shown that Epimedium can promote DNA synthesis in bone marrow cells, indicating that Epimedium has good anti-osteoporosis effects.
7. Helpful against tumors
Epimedium glycosides can act on relevant signaling pathways, are anti-inflammatory, regulate immune function, improve tumor microenvironment and exert anti-tumor effects. Icaritin potently inhibits the cell growth of human GBM cell line U87 by inducing both caspase-dependent apoptosis and autophagy. Additionally, that icaritin exerted an anti-tumor effect by modulating Stat3 through generating ROS and subsequent activation of AMPK and inhibition of mTOR.
