What is Curcumin powder?

Curcumin is extracted from Curcuma Longa rhizome, with the dark yellow surface, shriveling texture and dark orange fracture area. It is widely used in India and China as one of the anti-inflammatory remedies, and also used as a spice, therapeutic drug, and textile dyestuff.India and other regions at approximately the same latitude like Burma, Guangxi (China), Yunnan (China), northern Vietnam etc, are the main origins for Curcumin longa due to the special latitude, climate, and soil.

These compounds are called curcuminoids, the most important of which is curcumin. Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric. It has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant.
