What is Alpha GPC Choline ?

Alpha GPC Choline is a water-soluble substance with 2 fatty acids removed from the main phospholipid PC(phosphatidylcholine) which constitutes the cell membrane. It is a naturalcholine compound found in the brain and in milk. It is also a parasympathomimeticacetylcholine precursor which may have potential for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Alpha-GPC is also used as a nootropic dietary supplement to enhance memory and cognition.

It exists widely in the organism and is one of the body components that exist in human breast milk and body fluid swelling.
