Baricitinib is an oral inhibitor of JAK kinases 1 and 2 commonly used in adults to treat moderately to severely active rheumatoid arthritis (RA). In patients with rheumatoid arthritis who have not previously used a biologic DMARDS medication, baricitinib may reduce disease activity.
